APPLICATION FIELD

Used for repairing of stationary cracks on areas with an active water leak, and for repairing and filling of broken and perforated parts on concrete surfaces

REQUIREMENTS

  • Blocks the flowing water within a short period of time.
  • It may be easily and rapidly applied.
  • It is possible to perform cement-based application on it within an hour.
  • Contraction cracks do not occur.
  • Has a high mechanical strength.
  • Any type of water insulation material may be applied on it.

APPLICATION

PREPARATION of the MORTAR  

  • A proper amount of powder (approximately 5 kg of WATERFIX® /1.4-1.5 l of water) shall be mixed with water and pugged.
  • Paste-like mortar obtained shall be used without waiting.
  • The hole in the application shall be extended to a size of 3x3 cm minimum to decrease water pressure.
  • Mortar shall be tapered by hand, and placed on the water leak area at a single time.
  • Keep applying constant pressure for 2 minutes at least until the material is hardened.
  • Surface shall be rapidly corrected with trowel after the material has hardened.
  • The procedure above shall be repeated from the sides to the centre for holes that are not possible to the closed at a single time.
  • It shall not be applied on brick and aerated concrete and surfaces with thin level of plaster.

RECOMMENDATION

  • No other materials (lime, cement, gypsum, etc.) shall be added to the prepared mortar.
  • Mortar shall not be used again by mixing with water or dry mortar if its application time has expired.
  • We recommend that the application shall be performed between +5°C and +35°C.
  • It shall not be applied on frozen surfaces.
  • Do not apply under direct sunlight.
  • Do not go beyond the application field and the rules.
  • Do not inhale it directly. Wash your eyes with plenty of water in case of contact with eyes, seek medical attention if required.
