APPLICATION FIELD

  • For interior applications on vertical surfaces and ceilings,
  • To increase the adhesion of gypsum-, lime- and cement-based plaster mortars to exposed concrete surfaces,
  • Used as a primer for ceiling plasters.
  • Used on concrete and stamped-concrete surfaces.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Very low viscosity.
  • Provides excellent impregnation.
  • Single-component and easy to use.
  • Resistant to sunlight.
  • Solvent-based.
  • Transparent.
  • Unaffected by weather conditions (-5°C to +40°C).
  • Resistant to salt water, salt solutions, alkalis, diluted acids, aliphatic solvents, petrol and mineral oils.
  • Penetrates deeply into all mineral and concrete surfaces, impregnating them with high adhesion.
  • Fast and easy to apply.
  • Reduces water absorption in concrete structures and fills non-structural hairline cracks.
  • Provides two-stage protection by creating permanent water impermeability at the surface.
  • Fills the pores of aerated concrete and similar surfaces to create an impermeable surface.

APPLICATION

Surface Preparation

Before application, the surface must be dry and free from dust, oil and other contaminants. The surface temperature must be above 15°C. If possible, concrete surfaces should be washed with pressurised water. Allow at least 1 day of drying in sunny weather. Any water absorbed by the concrete surface must evaporate completely. Do not apply to wet substrates.

 

Application

Application by spraying onto the road surface with automatic application equipment is recommended. If necessary, it may also be applied by brush or roller. The product is supplied at application viscosity and does not require thinning. Wear gloves and a mask during application.

These values are theoretical and do not include any additional material required due to surface porosity, profile, variations in level or wastage.

 

PACKAGING

  • Supplied in a 15 kg metal can.

STORING

  • May be stored for 12 months in unopened original containers in a dry environment at temperatures between 5°C and 25°C.
  • Store in unopened original packaging in a cool, dry place protected from frost.
  • Opened packages must be tightly sealed and stored under suitable storage conditions.

CERTIFICATE OF CONFORMITY

RECOMMENDATION

  • Do not allow ponding during primer application.
  • The freshly applied product must be protected from moisture, condensation and water for at least 24 hours.
  • Material in an opened container must be used as soon as possible.
  • Storage conditions must be taken into consideration during transportation.
  • During application, workwear, protective gloves and safety goggles compliant with occupational health and safety regulations must be worn.
  • If swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.
  • Food and beverages must not be brought into application areas.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Do not use outside the specified areas of application or contrary to the instructions for use.
