After surface preparation is completed, ALÇIMATİK PLUS® is mixed in the plastering machine at the specified ratio (14 L water/25 kg) until the required application consistency is achieved, and then sprayed onto the surface.
The application thickness should be between 8 mm and 25 mm in a single coat. If the thickness exceeds 25 mm, a second coat with a maximum thickness of 25 mm is applied before the first coat sets. The surface is levelled with a screed.
When the surface begins to dry, excess material can be removed by a second screeding operation. The surface is then compacted and smoothed with a spatula. When the surface has reached sufficient hardness, it is lightly wetted and sponge-floated to obtain a satin finish. Depending on the ambient temperature, as the satin finish begins to dry, it is finished with a steel trowel to obtain a flawless surface. If desired, after approximately 2 hours, when the surface has hardened, it may be dampened and given its final finish with a steel trowel.
