APPLICATION

SURFACE PREPARATION  

  • The masonry material shall always be free of form oil, dust, paint and materials that reduce adherence..

PREPARATION of the MORTAR  

For the masonry mortar;
  • After adding a suitable amount of water and powder in the mixing vessel (7 l of water/20 kg of powder), it shall be stirred until the mixture becomes homogeneous using a hand mixer.
  • The mortar that is stirred again after resting for 5 minutes shall be applied to the glass brick at a thickness of 3-10 mm to perform the masonry work.
  • You may advance to joint application at least 24 hours later than the masonry work.
For the joint filler;
  • After adding a suitable amount of water and powder in the mixing vessel (7.5-8 l of water/20 kg of powder), it shall be stirred until the mixture becomes homogeneous using a hand mixer.
  • The mortar that is stirred again after resting for 5 minutes shall be applied with a rubber ended scraper.
  • After 45 minutes, surface shall be dampened with a damp sponge.

CONSUMPTION

2 kg/m2 for 8 mm joint thickness

PACKAGING

25 kg polyethylene-reinforced kraft paper bags,

(delivered in pallets or as sling-bags upon request.)

STORING

6 Months Shelf Life*

* If stored in its original package without opening the package under dry, frost free conditions

 

(1 week after opening the package.)

CERTIFICATE OF CONFORMITY

RECOMMENDATION

  • No other materials (lime, cement, gypsum, etc.) shall be added to the prepared mortar.
  • Mortar shall not be used again by mixing with water or dry mortar if its application time has expired.
  • You shall wait at least 24 hours for joint application.
  • Application surface shall be damped at least 1 days after the application.
  • We recommend that the application shall be performed between +5°C and +35°C.
  • Do not go beyond the application field and the rules.
  • Do not inhale it directly. Wash your eyes with plenty of water in case of contact with eyes, seek medical attention if required.
