APPLICATION

Surface Preparation

The application surface must be free from formwork oil, paint and similar substances.

Loose or unstable particles with poor adhesion must be removed from the surface. Application may commence after the surface has been dampened.

Mortar Preparation and Application

Pour the appropriate amount of water (4-5 L water/25 kg bag) into a clean mixing container. Add the powder and mix with a hand mixer. Allow the mortar to rest for 5

minutes, then remix until a homogeneous consistency is obtained.

For surface levelling:

Apply the prepared mortar with a steel trowel. Surface finishing may be completed with a steel trowel or sponge float. Application thickness is 3-5 mm in a single coat and 10 mm in two coats. Where a thicker application is required, apply in two coats. Apply the second coat after the first coat has dried.

For repair purposes:

Remove loose plaster particles. Form a V-shaped groove approximately 5 mm deep along the crack. Fill with mortar using a trowel and, once the filling has hardened, level the surface with a trowel.

CONSUMPTION

Approx. 1,4 kg/m² for 1 mm thickness.
